“Best way to spend a Sunday in NYC!!!!”
– Vanessa from NYC (on TripAdvisor)
I didn’t really know what to expect when I decided to go on the tour with my friends but it ended up being the best tour I’ve ever been on. It was hilarious!!! Glace had us laughing so hard we were crying. Glace took us around and taught us about the history of Greenwich while being endlessly entertaining. I highly recommend for tourists and locals
“Something COMPLETELY different. FOLLOW THE SHOE”
– Ian from Sydney (on Zerve)
Forget those copycat tours, the ones spewing up the same facts and anecdotes in the same blah blah style…just FOLLOW THE SHOE! Glace’s tour was hilarious, from before it started till way after it ended. A wonderful hostess, Glace showcases the alternative side of Greenwich Village in a unique way. Anyone who mentions New York City to me now gets a 5 minute recommendation to book a Dream Queen Tour. Follow the shoe!!
Hello Snowflakes!
After years of humiliating defeats I’m totes pumped to announce my latest venture! DREAM QUEEN TOURS! I want to show you NY as it was meant to be seen – a city full of kooks and misfits, starving artists and filthy rich bankers. A city of weird stories and fascinating individuals. And most of all a city of FUN! Cos if you can make it here… then damn everyone else! Here’s my story…
“The Birth of a Dream Queen”
– AN ORIGIN STORY OF THE WORLD’S FUTURE GREATEST COMPANY
I find the crowds at NYC’s main attractions- well- overwhelming (!). So when my sister came to stay 18 months ago I made a deal: I’d go but only in full drag. One hilarious trip up the Empire State later, with dozens of photo requests & pleas of “what’s fun to do in NYC”, and the idea of drag queen tour guide burst a blood vessel in my brain! AND VOILA!!: a Drag Queen Entrapanoor was Immaculately Concepted!
“NYC, Australia, Playwriting & finding an authentic Me…”
– THE TALL FREQUENT TALE OF YET ANOTHER NYC REFUGEE
Four years ago I fled my career in Australia (as multiple award winning internationally produced playwright “Rick Viede” no less!) tired of the phobia, politics & constant mind-numbing oblivion of taking myself seriously. Plus I needed to figure out if I was trans! NYC allowed me to find my name (which is Glace), my gender (which non-conforming, any pronoun is fine just be NICE), and myself (80s styled business woman, 50s styled lady of leisure). So I retired “Rick” (what a relief!), and now live as Glace and I love NYC for being the only place in the world I can be my unique self AND build the world’s first Drag Queen Tour Guide Biz. As the saying something something…: “only in NEW YAWK!!”
So why not join me on my Village Tour and celebrate NYC’s bold personalities who have led interesting lives, as told by this bold personality who has led far too an interesting life! And we start in a bar and finish in a bar! THIS IS THE BEST THING I’VE EVER DONE!
Cos everyone needs a dream. And someone to pay for it!
Let’s have some FUN!
